A glazed teak wall cabinet with an iron ring pull, a top that overhangs like a hat brim, and two shelves that wait patiently to be filled. Hang it by the stove for the salt and the good honey, or in the hall for whatever small things keep going missing. It has been opened and closed by a great many hands, and it shows in the best possible way.
